3 about to become 4 - Wollongong Maternity Photographer

It was a beautiful Autumn day here in Wollongong, the sun was shining, the breeze was warm and the salt air filled our lungs. I met this beautiful family at Port Kembla beach to capture them as a family of 3 before their little girl arrived earth side.

Jodi is a gorgeous friend and an amazing photographer at Ruby and Ted Photography based in the Shoalhaven. I was so honoured to be trusted with documenting this very special time for them. I always get a bit nervous before a session as I want to due the family justice, but they always ramp up a bit when you are photographing another amazing photographer. Jodi was a little hesitant in having a session as she didn’t feel like herself, like most of us do when are 35 weeks pregnant but she knew how important it was to capture this time in their lives. They all relaxed into the session and had fun and meaningful connections with her loved ones. Little Darcy was so excited for his baby sister to arrive and was so in love with her already, and he is a little character so we were guaranteed to have some laughs.

Jodi wore a stunning white flowy boho dress from Get Frocked and it suited her and the session perfectly. Here is Jodi’s reaction to her gallery.
