Emma + Aaron - Wollongong Maternity and Newborn Photographer

Pregnancy is such a beautiful, inspiring , challenging, emotional journey and a chapter of your story that should be captured. As the years go on, you will miss those moments, the big belly, the kicks and turns, and the way you feel your love grow stronger and stronger. There is no better way to relive those memories then through beautiful images. An image that takes you right back to that time when you walk past it hanging on your wall and gives you all those amazing feelings. I hear so many mothers say that they feel horrible, that they are “a big whale” so they don’t want to have their photo taken. I hear you and I see you, I have been where you are and I can promise you that I hear those same mothers later on saying “I wish I had photos taken when I was pregnant”. Live life now, capture the chapters, each one, as they are all as equally important in your story.

Emma and Aaron captured their pregnancy journey with this sun drenched maternity session, it is one of my favourite maternity sessions to date. We headed to the famous Bombo Quarry, near Kiama, NSW just a short drive from Wollongong. We walked around chatting about life and parenthood all while capturing this chapter of their lives. After the session Emma and Aaron mentioned that they were really nervous before the session and they felt like they were not photogenic people but it was much more relaxed and easier then they thought it would be (plus you will see below they are SOOO photogenic!). I feel so lucky that I get to do something I love for my job and that I have the gift of being able to create tangible memories for families.
